Call for PRIDE Month Themed Artwork

Picture That is currently seeking images for PRIDE month.
  
Our curatorial team is in the process of working on several projects for which the submitted artwork will be taken into consideration.
 
 
DESIRED WORKS
 
Picture That is curating an Art Exhibition for PRIDE month. This will be a virtual exhibition for a national corporate client in the hospitality industry.
 
Our two-fold, curatorial goal for this art exhibition is to feature:
 
1. Artwork by LGBTQ+ Artists with subjects including but not limited to:
Seascapes
Landscapes
Cityscapes
Abstract
Architecture
Other non-figurative subjects of interest
 
2. Figurative artwork of LGBTQ+ People in everyday life scenes that are tasteful and corporate conservative. Subjects should not include political, religious, sexual, or violent themes. We are interested in featuring unique paintings, drawings, jewelry, pottery, baskets, photography, sculpture, digital graphics and textile design.
 
Media may include oil, acrylic, pen/ink, pastel, watercolor, collage, beadwork, glass, found objects, fabric and mixed media.
 
 
REQUIRED MATERIALS
 
1. One (1) to five (5) digital images as jpg file(s) of artwork to be considered; 150 dpi or greater (3.5" in size). Name the jpg file(s) the same as artwork title(s).
 
2. Artist Bio and/or Artist Statement (Word documents or text files are acceptable). Please include the artist's location (City, State) in the document.
3.  A listing of the work including title, year created, medium, size (height x width x depth), price and artwork description. 
 
Please format the subject of your e-mail as follows:
 
PRIDE_LastNameFirstName_City_State
 
For example: PRIDE_JohnsonPaula_Boston_MA


SUBMISSION PROCESS
 
If you would like your artwork considered, please e-mail the required materials by Friday, March 4th to opencallforartists@picture-that.com.
